Are wolves likely to attack? Folks who should know told me that you only have to worry about your little ones (both children and pets!). Yes, all you have to do is keep the family close to you, yell, and hope the wolf leaves. Never turn your back on them, and never run away.
The Bible takes wolves seriously.
Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain. (Ezekiel 22:27, NIV)
The Bible says that false prophets who are really wolves pretending to be sheep sneak up on believers.
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. (Matthew 7:15, NIV)
The same truth applies to two-legged spiritual wolves as to four-legged ones.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. (Ephesians 6:14, NIV)
Prayer – Father, when wolves of any kind attack, please give us the courage to stand firm. Amen.
