And don’t be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God’s place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there. We are created as we are for a reason, friends; otherwise we might be a crocodile and sweat through our mouth, lay in wait to eat folks and live in dread of becoming a fine leather purse.
If we were an owl we would need to put our eye make-up on three times. Owls have three eyelids. One is for blinking, one for sleeping and one to keep the eye clean.
Folks we are created to love honor and serve God, not to wish we were somewhere else living some other kind of life. Live and enjoy the one you have for it is short and fleeting. Our lives are not always to our liking, but as always, God has advice for us.
Prayer- Father God, please give us wisdom and grace to live as you would have us live, no matter what we think of our life right now. Amen.
