A Southern California ministry which sells donated wedding rings and other jewelry for African well-digging projects is hosting an online auction through June 29. With This Ring has placed 22 rings–wedding sets, anniversary bands, engagement rings–up on its site for bid. Profits will go toward well-digging projects, which the ministry sponsors with the help of Living Water International. “I’ve seen an astonishing wave of generosity. Men and women are changing the world through radical giving,” said Ali Eastburn, the mission’s founder. So far, the charity has funded 13 wells in Africa, helping villages to eliminate many of the illnesses and problems caused by malnutrition and a lack of clean drinking water.
