The Bible has a fair bit to say about unity with one another…

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. (Ephesians 4:1-2 KJV)

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1, KJV)

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Ephesians 4:13, KJV)

As I said earlier…the Bible has a fair bit to say about unity with one another…but also with the Holy Spirit.

Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3, KJV)

It follows that if we are not in unity with our fellow Christians than we cannot possibly be in unity with the Holy Spirit.

That is food for thought.

Prayer- Father, when we are out of sorts with one another, than we are definitely out of sorts with you. We know how to sort it out Lord…and we resolve to make amends with our fellow Christians today. Amen
