You Can Be

Our church hands out business cards in our community, with a current calendar on one side and these words on the other.

You can be Forgiven:

God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (KJV).

You can be Confident:

As many as received Him (Jesus Christ), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (KJV).

You can be Secure:

Jesus promises that everyone who trusts in Him has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life (KJV).

And here is the bottom line; God cannot and does not lie, (Titus 1:2). His word is true. Because we know that, we can believe these promises, claim them for ourselves, and trust Jesus Christ to be our personal Savior.

Prayer: Now Lord, please give us the courage to make the right decision, the one that will forever change the way we live—and die. Lord, we believe.  In Christ’s name. Amen.
