Do you realize how unusual this is?
One of them, when he realized that he was healed, turned around and came back, shouting his gratitude, glorifying God. He kneeled at Jesus’ feet, so grateful. He couldn’t thank him enough—and he was a Samaritan. (Luke 17:15-16, MSG)
It’s as weird as if I said “He couldn’t thank him enough —and he was a Martian.”
We are not as a rule, a very thankful people.
"To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant. To enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven".–Johannes A. Gaertner
Prayer- Lord, might we touch heaven today with grateful hearts. Amen.
