Back at Church

We’ve all missed church attendance but someday soon we will all be back in our big beautiful buildings. Probably you’ve been attending virtual meetings like our congregation has. As you might have realized, the church is not the building. The church is us, you and me. We are Jesus with feet.

We’ve had a variety of new folks following our services on line and when we get back into our buildings it is quite likely that they will attend. What kind of people will they find there? Will we be loving and kind and encouraging or will we snub them because they look a little different or because they haven’t had a full introduction into a life of faith?

We must examine our hearts and ask God to remove any thoughts of superiority or judgement.

Face it; none of us are perfect, but if we ask Jesus to help us, our hearts and therefore our actions will change and we build a new congregation with fresh enthusiasm and love for the Saviour.

Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus, the Messiah has laid hold of me and made me His own. (From Philippians 3:12, AMP).

Prayer- Prepare us Lord for the exciting days to come. Amen.
