Big Mouth Prayer

Lord, prevent me from thinking that my opinion on every topic is required by everyone, everywhere. Help me mind my own business.

Help me be helpful while not being a busy body. You know I have lots of wisdom but help me not to inflict it on people just to impress them.

Help me get to the point of the topic without long winded explanations or self-important prayers.

You know I think too highly of my own self and my memories, but others seem to have different memories of what I think I remember so well. I admit , Lord, that sometimes I might mistaken. Help me to be gracious in listening.

I am not a saint, but God, I don’t want to be a sourpuss either. Help me find that happy medium that pleases you.

Help me, Oh God, to love like you love, no matter what and to keep my mouth shut with opening it causes only hurt
