Bushels of Snow

Bushels of snow, bushels of snow!

I wish it were apples and then it could go

Into my mouth and away from my feet.

Snow might not be yellow yet still bad to eat.

Snow is mostly S-seasonal N-negative O-overwhelming W-whiteouts. When blizzard conditions hit, who wants to be on the roads? If you can’t see, why try to go anywhere?

Life with Christ is often snowy too. Most of the time we only have enough direction for the one step in front of us. It’s scary to step out when you can’t see where you are going. Are we willing to take God at his word and step out anyway? Only time will tell.

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6, AMP)

If you knew what I had in store for you, you’d try to bring it about yourself! (God)

Prayer- Father God, please give us the courage to trust you through the snowy blizzards of life instead of trying to figure everything out for ourselves. Amen.
