Cheering Section

I picture God holding his breath as we take a step, cheering our every moment and celebrating with us when we finish some God-given task.

I believe he wants us to do our very best as long as we can. As our neighbor lady said when her darling husband died, “If all he could do was sit in a chair, it was enough for me!”

When our end is coming near, let us be like Paul who said-

You take over. I’m about to die, my life an offering on God’s altar.

 This is the only race worth running.

 I’ve run hard right to the finish, believed all the way. 

All that’s left now is the shouting—God’s applause! 

Depend on it; he’s an honest judge. 

He’ll do right not only by me but by everyone eager for his coming. (2 Timothy 4:6-8)

With God cheering us on, how can we fail? We will run our life’s race to the very best because we love God and God loves us!
