Every body seems to become a keraunopathologist during the Christmas season. A keraunopathologist is a specialist in the pathology of lighting. Oh the lighting we put up around our houses! We think we are the best at what we do. But as usual… God is better at it!
He is surely the best keraunopathologist ever. Here’s proof.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12 , NIV)
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” (John 9:5, NIV)
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. (Isaiah 60:1, NIV)
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ (2Corinthians 4:6, NIV)
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.(Revelation 21:23, NIV)
Prayer – Dear wonderful keraunopathologist God, we can’t even say this word but we know you are it! Amen
