’Enter to Worship’ Shows What God Expects From Us

I had the pleasure of reading “Enter to Worship – Exit to Serve” by Ronald K Gray recently and feel it should be recommended reading for Christians around the world.

“For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.” Nehemiah 10:39 (King James Version)

We have all seen deterioration in our churches and worship not just in our neighborhoods but around the world. This was not God’s plan for His church or the Body of Christ. “Enter to Worship – Exit to Serve” shows with simple scripture backing what God expects from us as a church and as individuals and how we can apply these truths to our everyday lives and worship to bring us back to where God wanted us from the beginning.

I loved the easy to follow layout of “Enter to Worship – Exit to Serve”. Gray took each section of the scripture in Nehemiah and broke it down covering each aspect chapter by chapter: The Offering of the Corn, The Offering of the New Wine, The Offering of the Oil and so on.

While “Enter to Worship – Exit to Serve” is an easy read in a day book it is also a wonderful devotional book or would be perfect for Sunday School class or small group to cover over several weeks. No matter how you decide to read and use this power packed little book I give it a thumbs up for good Christian reading. If you have already read it this may be a good time to read it again or share it with others.

Looks like a good book for an adult Sunday School Class. I’m sure there would be some fabulous discussion.
