Sewing Rates

Nothing irritated my mechanic husband more than people who brought him a ‘basket’ job. That is to say, they worked on it themselves and brought it to the shop in pieces. That’s why this sign amused me.

Sewing rates – standard-$20.00 an hour, if you watch – $25.00 an hour, if you help – $30.00 an hour, if you worked on it first – $40.00 an hour but If you tell me how to do it – $50.00 an hour

Now picture God working on your behalf. The sign would look something like this.

If you tell God how to do it- You are on your own friend!
