Siri Knows

What do you do when you don’t know what to do? In desperation, I asked Siri. And Siri replied by giving me several addresses to apply and find out. I’d been there already. So much for the wisdom of Siri! In fairness, though, she does give out time and weather, and condolences if you ask the right questions!

And then my daughter gave me a 1972 reprint of the 1894 Book of Household Hints. Let me say that times have changed! For instance, Coffee and tea were thought to have the same effects of alcohol and to cause diseases like dyspepsia. Yes, I had to look that one up. Dyspepsia is a stomach upset of almost any kind.

I decided to answer my own question with these answers, for the Lord never fails me.

God knows what I need before I ask. (Mathew 6:8)

Mistakes and errors occur if we don’t know the Word or God’s Power. (Matthew 22:29)
