And why wouldn’t we be tired? After all, just today, our hearts beat 103,389 times, our blood traveled 168 million miles, and we breathed 23,040 times.
We exhaled 438 cubic feet of air, ate over three pounds of food, and drank at least six cups of liquid. We moved more than eighty muscles; our fingernails, toenails and hair grew a bunch and if we had any thought at all; we used several million brain cells.
Never mind. We’ll get over it. Here is God’s cure for tired.
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. (Isaiah 40:31, AMP)
Prayer- Lord, thanks for all reminding us how precious we really are. Amen.
