We all use various combinations of words to express love.
For instance you might have often heard these words: “I love you,” or someone might say, “I love you with all my heart” or “With my heart and soul, I love you.”
But how often have you heard someone say, “I love you with my mind.”? It may be very rarely or may be never.
Our culture and media seems to have ignored the importance of ‘Our Minds’…
When you say to your beloved, “I love you,” you wouldn’t enjoy thinking of someone else in your mind!
In addition to heart and soul, loving God and others with our minds is also very important.
In the greatest commandment – “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37), Jesus himself mentioned the importance of our minds because we are made in the image of God.
Loving and worshipping God with the entire mind is the only way for any aspirant desiring the mind of Christ, if that desire has to be fulfilled.
