Are We There Yet?

2 Timothy three begins with these words. Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead.
Then it goes on to make an obvious list of what these difficult times look like.

People are going to be self-absorbed;
Money-hungry;
Self-promoting,
Stuck-up,
Profane,
Contemptuous of parents,
Crude,
Coarse,
Dog-eat-dog,
Unbending,
Slanderers,
Impulsively wild,
Savage,
Cynical,
Treacherous,
Ruthless,
Bloated windbags,
Addicted to lust,
Allergic to God.
They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals.
Stay clear of these people. (2 Timothy 3:3-5, MSG)

Stay clear of these people? Yes, of course, that is just common sense, isn’t it?
Do we take that advice?

Prayer- Lord show us who these folks are and if they are us, Lord, change our hearts please…please. Amen in Christ, Amen.
