Celling Yourself Short

They prevent face-to-face conversation. They isolate us in rooms full of people. They interrupt meal/sleep times.  No wonder cellular phones are called cells. They hold us captive 24 hours a day.

Our brains can only hold one thought at a time. If we have our nose stuck in a phone, we know what’s in there but we miss out on look-you-in-the-eye conversations, and budding friendships. And people miss the light of Jesus in us.

No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a CELL-ar or crypt or under a bushel measure, but on a lamp stand, that those who are coming in may see the light. (Luke 11:33, AMP)

Prayer- Lord may we turn of the cell and turn on the light…Amen
