Consider Thanks-giving

What a year we have had. No matter where we live, the weather, the politics, the people, the pandemic and trauma exist. There is no getting away from it!

The best thing to do is to find a way to be thankful for the smallest thing, for that is the way of God. Here are some Biblical ways to be thankful.

Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn, and spring rains, as before. (Joel 2:23, NIV)

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:4, NIV)

I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30, NIV)

But among you, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. (From Ephesians 5:3-5)

I am thankful for….?
