Thanks to the forwarded fright mail from my ‘friends’ now I have to use paper towels to open doors and refuse lemon slices in my water. Hotel bedspreads are contaminated, my purse bottom has germs, and rodent stuff is on envelope flaps and tin cans. Every product causes cancer, serial killers loom around every corner, and kidnappers have invaded the mall.
I can dwell on stuff like that or on words like this:
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.(Isaiah 41:10, AMPC)
