So we know that Christ is our wisdom. He learned that in yesterday’s devotional. So now we are inquiring of him for wisdom in our life planning. The thing is we already know a lot about what we are to do.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? Act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8, NIV)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”(Mark 12:30-31, NIV)
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:19-20a, NIV)
Before we demand more of God, perhaps we should first check how we are doing in these departments.
Prayer- Lord give us eyes to see ourselves in our true light and follow in the path you sent. Amen.
