Thinking Match-up

Do you voice the opinions of others without thinking? Do they spout political thoughts and you just agree because it is easier?

Do you vote the same way as your spouse, just because? One of my relatives needed a ride to the voter’s booth and felt she must vote the same way as her driver!

What about trying this way of thought

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my (God) ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9)

The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. (Proverbs 15:28)

Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.  (2 Timothy 2:7)

Frankly, common sense is required when we think. 

Don’t be one of those who spout off uninformed thoughts.

It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” (Matthew 15:11)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)
