When You Don’t Know

When you don’t know what to do, what should you do? Why, ask God for wisdom of course! Here are the promises!

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (James 1:5, NLT)

And when we ask, he teaches and guides us!

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8, NLT)

And we learn to trust him, not ourselves.

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6, AMP)

Ah the blessed peace of knowing he gives us his direction, if we but ask.

Prayer – Lord give us the grace to humble ourselves and ask you for wisdom, especially when we think we have everything all figured out! For Christ. Amen
