Foolish Fraidy Cats

Well folks we have reached the end of crazy fear. We have to be afraid of our brooms. Yep, you heard me. Be afraid of your broom. I might have mentioned this before and I might do it again because we are reaching the absurd in life.

So this is how it goes. You must be afraid of your broom because it might kill you. So soak it in a pail of soap, water and bleach. (My eyes kind of glazed over at this point so I missed the directions about whether to hang it on the clothes line or throw it in the dryer).

Actually our time and money might be better spent in other ways.

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. ( 2 Timothy 4:2, NIV)

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
(1 Peter 3:15, NIV)

Prayer- Lord, when our minds work into a frenzy of foolish fear, bring us back to common sense. For Christ who lived a common life on our behalf. Amen.
