God’s Will for Me

This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” (Romans 8:15-17, MSG)

Everyone wants to know what God’s will is for them. You and I are no different. Stop waiting for angels to appear at your bedside.

Big Mistake: cry out and ask God for a plan when he already has one right in front of our face.

Do the next right thing folks. It is as simple as that. Do the next right thing right that is staring you right in the face.

It might be as simple as tidying the house or doing the dishes.
It might be reading to your children.
It likely is not fly to Seattle right now and speak on a street corner!! While that might be fun it is a very few of us that get directions like that first thing every day.

So take a shower. Clean yourself up. Clean up your living space.

Journal, write, sew an apron, make some masks, and put dinner in the crock pot.

Just do the next thing right in front of you and do it God’s way, with excellence.

In fact why not do your devotions right now?

The next minute the disciples were looking around, rubbing their eyes, seeing nothing but Jesus, only Jesus. (Mark 9:8, MSG)

Prayer- Lord we ask that we see what you see, the things of life that need doing right now so that another’s’ life might improve. Amen.
