Oh Canada

Here are the familiar words of our Canadian Anthem.

O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada, We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land, glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee;
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

We hardly know verses two and three and we definitely don’t know verse four.

Ruler supreme, who hearest humble prayer, Hold our Dominion, in thy loving care.
Help us to find, O God, in thee, a lasting rich reward.
As waiting for the better day, we ever stand on guard.
God keep our land, glorious and free. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

Canada is a country based on Christian principles and beliefs. May it continue ever so.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. (Psalm 33:12a, NIV)
