When People Pray

Do you know who is praying for you? I don’t think we know the half of it.

Every now and again, I am shocked to spot my name on the prayer list of the writing group I belong to. Why ever do they pray for me? Just because they can, that’s why. They pray regularly for every member.

That begs the question…do we really know who is praying for us? 

No, we do not. 

Somewhere, perhaps across the ocean, in another country, or even in the home of someone you consider to be an enemy, someone, led by the Holy Spirit, is praying for you.

So then when God brings even a difficult person to mind, can we do any less?

When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer for that person. (Luke 6:27, 28)

When God directs us to pray, let’s listen and obey.
