Priorities

Mark Twain said that we should never make someone our priority when all we are to them is an option.

A priority is the right to be ranked above other things, while an option is simply that, a choice someone may or may not choose.

Who or what is our priority?  Is it spouse, child, job, hobby, or home? Do we even know what our priorities are? Where does our faith rank in order of importance? Surely we aren’t like the folks in Luke 14:18a, who made excuses!

Thankfully, we are always a priority with Christ.

We love because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19, NIV)

Payer- Lord, help us make you our priority, always. Amen.
