During the last few months, I’ve lived much of my life with the help of some kind of social media. Facebook, YouTube, Google or just plain old TV occupy lots of my time.
I’ve exercised everywhere from Leslie Sansome to Lucy Wyndham Reid and Sweating to the Oldies. I have zoomed way too many meetings. The only thing missing in all of that was people.
Who knew we quiet loner, introvert types would actually come to the point of missing people?
As much as people often annoy us, we need them! We need feedback, real voices and bodies and basic social reactions.
In spite of that truth, we still have to set certain standards. Here are some folks we do not want to entertain.
You don’t socialize with Wicked,
(Psalm 5:4-6, MSG)
Or invite Evil over as your house guest.
Hot-Air-Boaster collapses in front of you;
You shake your head over Mischief-Maker.
God destroys Lie-Speaker;
Blood-Thirsty and Truth-Bender disgust you.
Prayer- Give us wisdom as we open our doors and our hearts once more, Lord. Thank you. Amen.
