A Work in Progress

Construction seems to take forever, doesn’t it? Apparently this is an age old problem.

The Great Wall of China was started in 400 B.C. and wasn’t finished till about 1600 A.D. 

 It took 250 years to build York Minister Cathedral

On the other hand, the Sagrada Familia of Barcelona was started in 1882 and it isn’t finished yet!

Rather like the church of Christ, don’t you think? Some would say it is finished, but the rest of us understand that because the church is us, it’s a work in progress.

Prayer- God may we be one of those who help Jesus build his church, not hinder its growth (Matthew 16:18b, NIV). Amen.
