All Run

Weren’t the 2016 Olympics a big event? Whew! Crowds attended our athletes’ homecoming at the airport. Oh it was exciting.

The Paralympics followed. We welcomed them home too, with one camera and no crowd.
What happened?

We all are in a race; a race towards Jesus and our eternal life. Some of us will make it with glory and cheering crowds. Others of us will limp our way in, struggling to be all we can be in Christ.

No matter the size of your crowd, or stress of your handicap, run your heart out for Christ. Be an over-comer. Deal with what life deals you, but deal with it in Christ’s name. It doesn’t matter who sees you run. It does matter who you are running to.

I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. (1 Corinthians 9:27, NIV)

Prayer – Father we pray for those who struggle through life, doing the best they can, no matter what. Amen
