Words have power. What do yours say? Has criticism or unkindness encouraged you, grown you, set you free, or tied you to fetters you have been unable to break from?
Thoughts you might consider-You cannot make someone miserable while they feel worthy of themselves in Christ.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
Walk high when you enter a room. People might jeer, tear down or heap abuse on you but they can never diminish you when your standing says otherwise.
There will always be others willing to hurt you, put you down, gossip about you, belittle your accomplishments and judge your soul. Let it never be you about yourself.
Let your words be kind to yourself as well as to others.
All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!”(Luke 4:36, NIV)
Prayer- Lord God, help us choose our words carefully whether they be for others or even ourselves. Amen.
