I just presented my new speaking message for the first time. Oh I know it was successful because I can tell right away. No one has to write a review for me. It happens right in front of my eyes. Someone takes Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
All I do is share my personal story, yes my same old story of how Jesus led me to himself. I add new twists and turns but basically it is just my story. Your story is wonderful and important too.
“If any of you wants to serve me, then follow me. Then you’ll be where I am, ready to serve at a moment’s notice. The Father will honor and reward anyone who serves me.(John 12:26, MSG)
I know from experience that God uses our personal transformation stories to change people’s hearts, so I do it and so can you. Most of the time, it is no picnic. The travel is onerous, the overnighters not always comfortable.
Jesus was curt: “Are you ready to rough it? We’re not staying in the best inns, you know. (Matthew 8:20, MSG)
The highlight of every trip for me is that salvation moment when someone asks Jesus into their life.
Prayer- Lord, encourage those who have not yet experienced the joy of salvation beyond their own. Amen.
