Apology Offered and Accepted

Two sisters live on a street near me. If we invite one, we must be careful not to tell the other one. We dare not invite both to the same event. Their personal war over a parent’s will destroyed a life-long relationship.

Ask yourself, is my relationship worth loving over a set of dishes?  Did you know that if you apologize first, for the wrong that was yours, you are the more spiritual?

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

(Romans 12:6-8, NIV)

Christ is our example. He never exalted himself. He washed others’ feet. Can he wash yours?

He cooked a meal for the disciples, a big meal for a lot of people! Do you feed any but yourself?

He always took the lower path, road a donkey not a fiery stallion. Peace instead of arguments. And you?
