Awkward Moments

Today is National Awkward Moments day. I admit to a few; you too? Oh, come on…tell the truth everyone!

My latest came just this week when I had to decide to speak up for God or not. Now any salvation issue, and I am right on it. But this was “Lady, you don’t have a clue what you are talking about!”

We can read the Bible and not understand it. We can read the Bible and understand it. We can join the non-readers who haven’t got a clue.

She said… “The Bible says that…!” 

Folks, I couldn’t let that stand. I just couldn’t; because the Bible does not say that. I corrected her gently, (I hope).

“Actually, the Bible does not say that. In fact, I don’t think it even uses that word.”

“This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘They hear, but don’t understand; they look, but don’t see!

I hope she stopped spreading lies about God. Do you?
