Pastor Jenn Wagar mentioned that God didn’t need to give us multiple birds, animals, or plants. He could have given us just oxygen and kale!
Thank God that he is a giver, a generous God. A God who doesn’t give us just the bare necessities of life.
Now you are already whining. I hear you.
Brenda you are going to go on again about tithing and giving! Right? We don’t want to hear it.
Well too bad for you. I tell you truth here. That is my mandate and the truth is that God sets an example for us. We serve a generous God and we can be generous in return.
God is not withholding stuff from us and we ought not to be withholding time, talents, and treasures from others.
What can you do today to generously share Christlikeness?
Pay for the person in line after you at the coffee shop?
Donate to a Christian organization like Tear Fund.
Give generously at your church so that your pastor has a decent wage and the electric bill is paid and they can afford to hire a youth pastor!
Just ask God what he wants you to do. He’ll give you lots of ideas!
