If you look after the things that are dear to God, he will look after the things that are dear to you.
Think less of the power of things over you, but instead think of the power of Christ in you.
Lord, I’ll do the work and I will let you do the worrying. I haven’t worried since.
Sometimes God calms the storm and sometimes he lets the storm rage and calms his child.
Ask God what to do. (1 Chronicles 14:10) Do just what he says (1 Chronicles 14:16)
Every miracle is preceded by a step of obedience. The Lord will not do with a miracle, what we are to do by obedience.
Every prayer that rises from the heart, laves more room there for the Holy Spirit.
Don’t excuse the flesh, crucify it.
“Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
(Proverbs 30:7-9, NIV)
