Boomerang Living

Somedays, my direction is confusing. I think I am moving forward but a bad choice or two sends me backward or even in circles. I find myself back where I started. I am like a boomerang on those days.

Here is some good advice.

Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1Timothy 4:16)

So, the Bible says persevere. I do aim for that, but sometimes I find myself persevering in the wrong direction.

My perseverance (in the right direction) saves me and my hearers!  Yes, our doing and saying impacts others. How careful are we to do and say the right thing?

When our life is out of control, we can thankfully expect God to whiz us in another direction. His influence helps us get going on the right path.

Seldom do we see that as Godly, instead we whine about it. We must trust God when he moves us out of what we thought was good into what is much better.
