He had a black swan upside down under his arm and it had lots of ribbons tied to it.

Yes, you guessed it, didn’t you? This is a native’s description of a bagpiper. They had never seen one before and so it was all foreign to them.
If we are in a new relationship with Christ, some things might seem just as foreign to us but they are real and true.
Just because we don’t understand everything, doesn’t make it invalid.
Read your Bible with an open mind, asking God to help you understand what you read.
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. (Luke 24:44-45, NIV)
