Catching

I don’t think you can catch it from here. I have the flu. I say again—before you delete me—I don’t think you can catch it from here!

There’s one thing I hope you catch here though.

I’d love for you to catch a vision of God, a glimpse of Jesus, the encouragement of the Holy Spirit in these writings.

Even better maybe you’ll learn to do some of this catching. That’s my prayer for you.

Jesus said to Simon, “There is nothing to fear. From now on you’ll be fishing for men and women.” They pulled their boats up on the beach, left them, nets and all, and followed him.  (Luke 5:10, 11, MSG)

Prayer – Lord, I was afraid the first time I shared Jesus with a friend. I know others are too. Please give us boldness beyond ourselves and then send us friends who need to know you. Amen
