Which one makes your heart sing?
Which one do you offer to the world?
Which one do you offer to yourself?
Are you as kind to yourself as you are to others? Why/ why not?
Do you know yourself as well as you know your family, friends and neighbors?
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
(Matthew 22:37-40, NKJV)
1.Note the progression here. Love God with all you have and are.
2. Love your neighbor.
3. Love your neighbor as well as you love yourself.
As you say nasty things to yourself about how that recipe turned out or what the scale says or …remember that God loves you just the way you are. Do you?
