Consider the authors in the Bible. Each one wrote their own experiences with God.
John wrote a memoir of his personal times with Christ. He left the biography to Luke. Paul took on deeper theological thoughts while Solomon wrote wisdom and David lamented in the Psalms.
None of the authors criticized the other. They painfully and slowly recorded their words in the only way available to them at the time.
However, they all had one good reason for doing so.
Jesus said, (to Thomas) “So, you believe because you’ve seen with your own eyes. Even better blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing.”
Jesus provided far more God-revealing signs than are written down in this book. These are written down so you will believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and in the act of believing, have real and eternal life in the way he personally revealed it.
