Me – Lord, I ask you why you lead me into deep waters.
God – Because your enemies cannot swim!
We all have pain, illnesses, financial problems and multiple other kinds of suffering. Who hasn’t faced troubles during their life time? The question is how will we deal with it?
C.S. Lewis said this. “God knows our situation; He will not judge us as if we had no difficulties to overcome. What matters is the sincerity and perseverance of our will to overcome them.”
How willing are you?
“Still, if you set your heart on God and reach out to him, If you scrub your hands of sin and refuse to entertain evil in your home, You’ll be able to face the world unashamed and keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and fearless.
You’ll forget your troubles; they’ll be like old, faded photographs.
Your world will be washed in sunshine, every shadow dispersed by dayspring. Full of hope, you’ll relax, confident again; you’ll look around, sit back, and take it easy. (Job 11:13-19, MSG)
Prayer- God we honor your will in our lives. Lead us Lord to where our enemies languish, for Christ. Amen.
