Did You Get That

I confess that I feel like that very often. I say something and people who hear what I said seem to think I said something else.

Does that ever happen to you? Does it frustrate you and make you feel stupid? Here is some advice. Do your listeners criticize you for their misunderstanding?

These lines from ‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling might encourage you. They are also at the entrance to the Wimbledon Tennis Courts. They are a reminder to handle your self well in both good times and bad.

Instead of getting angry, try this.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5, NIV)
