Do Not Be Ignorant

Find the full story in 1 Corinthians 10.

1. Now these things are examples (warnings and admonitions) for us not to desire or crave or covet or lust after evil and carnal things as they did.

2. Do not be worshipers of false gods.

3. Do notgratify evil desire and indulge in immorality.

4. Do not try God’s patience, become a trial to Him, critically appraise Him, or exploit His goodness.

5. Do not discontentedly complain.

6. These things are an example and warning to us. Let anyone who thinks he stands [who feels sure that he has a steadfast mind and is standing firm], take heed lest he fall [into sin].  (From 1 Corinthians 10:6-12, AMP)

Prayer- Father God, help us shun (keep clear away from, avoid by flight if need be) any sort of idolatry. Amen.
