Generally we think of elves as little happy beings helping Santa make toys. However, the dictionary describes an elf as a small super-natural mischief-maker, asmall lively imaginary being that resembles a human. They have pointed ears, and are often considered to have a mischievous nature and magical powers.

So if elves were real, which they are not, they would be hindering Santa, not helping him. Aha! What other untruths do we believe?

1. God loves everybody and would never send anyone to hell.
2. I believe in God but not in Satan.
3. I asked Jesus into my life but that’s as far as I need to go.
4. I don’t need to read the Bible. My pastor tells me everything I need to hear.
