Fabric or Food?

A friend announced that she’d purchased Easter bunnies for all her grandchildren. Another asked…”Fabric or food?"

There is a difference isn’t there? Chocolate bunnies are a one time thing, eaten in haste, leaving us craving even more. Fabric bunnies stay around for the whole year and then some. They comfort us, cheer us and make us happy just to look at them.

Is your faith fabric or food? Is Jesus a one-time thing when you are in trouble or is he your constant companion all the time? Have you made him Lord of your life?

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might. And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be [first] in your [own] minds and hearts. (Deuteronomy 6:5-6, AMP)

Prayer- Lord, help us choose the real and everlasting you. Amen.
