Got a Translator?

Moses had to translate God to the Israelites because they were afraid.

And Moses called all Israel, and said to them, The Lord spoke with you face to face at the mount out of the midst of the fire. I stood between the Lord and you at that time to show you the word of the Lord, for you were afraid because of the fire and went not up into the mount. Deuteronomy 5:1a, 4, 5, AMP)

Who is your translator? Do you depend on your Pastor to explain the Bible to you? Do you expect the faith of your parents to keep you connected to God?  This will never do.

We need our own personal relationship with God. Like the 4-H motto says, Learn to do by doing.

Prayer- Lord, we fear your power, but crave your love. Help us choose you instead of our fear. Amen
