Today a friend offered me some grapes. I agreed to take them but I had no idea she was giving me two large cardboard boxes of them.
I in turn offered them to all my neighbours. They took lots but didn’t even make a dent in those piles I called our church food bank and they were delighted to have them.

“Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bank robbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. (Luke 12:33)
Be generous to the poor—you’ll never go hungry. (Proverbs 28:27)
Donate (even money) to your local food bank. Look around you and see a neighbor who would benefit from the abundant produce in your garden. Invite a less fortunate family in for dinner. Share what you have.
