- Make three columns on a page.
- Label them as Good, Bad, Life-Changing.
- Fill the first two with the things that are good or bad about your life.
- Now write your overall emotions in the good or bad columns.
You may be depressed, happy, grateful, sad or even angry, but here is your life changing truth for column three:
“The greatest sufferer that lives in this world of redeeming love, and who has the offer of heaven before him, has cause of gratitude.” – Albert Barnes
“So much has been given to me, I have no time to ponder over that which has been denied.” – Helen Keller
Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe. (Hebrews 12:28, NASB)
Yes, God does make the difference, if we let him.
Prayer – Lord we pray that we always see the best, forgive as you forgive and never lose sight of the fact of your presence in our lives. Amen
